The Double Godhead

The Lady-Rose, the Goddess-fair
Arose with grace beyond compare
She tossed her auburn-flaming hair
And swayed her way across the floor
Her waiting mate, Adonis seemed
With rigid love and aching need
Approached the Goddess half-between
And shared the knock on heaven's door
Once two, now one, a Godhead duel
Now sparked with love, now passion fueled,
Now spirit shared and spirit ruled
As high above the flesh they soared
The Goddess and Adonis rest
With loving hearts and love's caress
The Double Godhead has been blessed
With Double Godhead blessings poured.
